**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our business operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure the smooth operation of our data infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and systems using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using tools such as SQL, Python, and Docker
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data governance policies and procedures
* Work with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to streamline data processing and delivery
* Collaborate with data engineers and architects to design and implement data architecture solutions
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
* Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
* Experience with source control systems such as GitLab or GitHub
* Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
* Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS Lake Formation
* Experience with data security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR or HIPAA
