**Job Summary:**
As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our company, providing fast, friendly service to our customers while driving sales and revenue growth. You will be responsible for learning about our products, providing expert advice to customers, and working collaboratively with your team to achieve sales targets. **Responsibilities:**
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance
* Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project
* Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
* Participate in sales promotions, events, and initiatives to drive sales and revenue growth
* Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of arenaflex products, services, and promotions
* Provide expert advice to customers on products and services, and make recommendations to meet their needs
* Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborate with other departments, such as Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental, to provide a seamless shopping experience for customers
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
* Strong sales acumen, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
* Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods accurately
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the store
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a retail or sales environment, particularly in the home improvement industry
* Knowledge of arenaflex products, services, and promotions
* Certification in customer service, sales, or a related field
* Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
* Experience working with technology, such as point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and customer relationship management tools
