**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* Providing fast, friendly service to our customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance
* Learning about our products and services using our tools and resources
* Selling entire projects to meet customer needs, including recommending and closing sales
* Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards
* Working in cooperation with Department Supervisors and other associates in their department and other departments
* Participating in sales training and development programs to improve sales skills and knowledge

Our Customer Service/Sales Representatives work in a variety of store departments, including:
* Building Materials

* Garden

* Lumber

**Position Types**
Our Customer Service/Sales Representatives may work in one of the following position types:
* Department Sales
* Lead Generator
* Pro Account Sales

**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience in a retail or construction-related environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
* Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly
* Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
* Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
