**About the Role**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming phone calls, written correspondence, and other forms of communication with our members. You'll be the expert who helps navigate the challenging world of insurance, providing best-in-class service and building trust with our members. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer issues, elevate sensitive requests, and ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Interface with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail
* Research customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues
* Elevate sensitive customer requests when necessary
* Comply with State and Federal regulations and mandates, which are continually changing
* Accountable to remain current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
**Requirements**
* High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred)
* Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length
* Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in a healthcare or insurance industry setting
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

**Training and Development**
* 9-12 weeks of live virtual training: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Central Time Zone) Monday to Friday
* Interactive training with camera and audio utilized for training purposes
* Ongoing training and professional development opportunities to ensure you stay up-to-date on industry developments and arenaflex policies and procedures
**Work Schedule**
* Must be able to work any 8.5 hour shift between 7:30am-6:00pm (Central Time Zone) Monday to Friday
