**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our careerzynith team. As a key member of our Customer Service Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, resolving issues, and ensuring that our customers receive the support they need. This is a remote work opportunity, with an initial 3-day on-site requirement, followed by 100% remote work.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
* Act as the primary liaison with customers in solving problems related to the application process and service.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with customers by telephone and/or written correspondence regarding all aspects of claims process.
* Educate and inform customers by telephone, written correspondence, and/or the claims system about the documentation required to process a claim, required time frames, payment information, and claim status.
* Enter verbal and written application information that meets both the internal and external customer's requirements accurately into the claims management system.
* Assign new claims to the appropriate claim's handler.
* Direct customer calls to the correct person at all locations.
* Participate in and maintain a quality service culture within the Customer Service Team.
* Attendance during scheduled work hours is required.
**Additional Responsibilities:**
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Support the organization's quality program(s).
**Qualifications:**
* Education: High school diploma or GED required.
* Experience: One (1) year customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
* Experience in an inbound call center preferred.
* Skills & Knowledge:
+ Knowledgeable in disability plan eligibility, coverage, and benefits.
+ Good customer service skills.
+ Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills, PC literate, including Microsoft Office product.
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Good interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work in a team environment.
+ Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
