As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll collaborate with clients in a considerate, professional, courteous, and expert manner. You'll be the face of arenaflex, providing top-notch service to our valued customers and ensuring their needs are met with a smile.
**What you'll do**
Here are the key responsibilities of the job, which may be subject to change as the role evolves. You'll be expected to:
* Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets
* Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
* Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
* Perform traveler check-in and boarding tasks (excluding curbside), correct oversold seat assignments, and issue upgrades
* Issue vouchers and coordinate with project workers for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; arrange refueling and reactivation
* Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check
* Operate gate readers/scanners and related tasks, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items, and departure line models
* Operate jetways/bridges for the purpose of boarding and deplaning travelers
* Make boarding and departure gate announcements
* Convey domestic/international flight records
* Perform traveler service flight close-out procedures
* Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters
* Maintain a schedule of flight loading process
* Perform customer service hands-on training
* Process and complete credit card baggage transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
* Assist travelers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling at ticket counters
* Man the lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
* Clear/confirm international records at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations
* Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
* Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors
* Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
* Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements
* Answer and assist during security and emergency situations
* Provide gate information to travelers
* Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and in accordance with arenaflex's policies
* Adhere to organizational procedures, systems, and performance guidelines
* Complete task-related stages of training
* Comply with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
* Utilize various internal resources/frameworks, including during customer interactions
* Wear uniforms as required by organizational policy

**Depending on your airport size, you may also be responsible for:**
* Performing Traveler Activity Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication and Peak capabilities
* Assisting international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage re-check
* Conveying tickets, international flight reports, and customs/migration forms
**All you'll need for success**
* Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor's degree
+ Language skills: Bilingual language abilities required in certain areas
+ Relevant driver's license: Valid driver's license as required by local authorities
+ FAA background checks: Must meet requirements for unescorted access badges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
+ Airport power and US Customs security IDs: Must be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs security IDs, if applicable
+ Pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet organizational and security requirements
+ Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Preferred Qualifications:
+ Training and earlier professional experience
+ Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Systems
+ Past face-to-face customer service experience
