**Key Responsibilities**
As a remote customer service representative, your primary duties will include:
* Completing daily tasks related to account processing, such as checking processing, object processing, direct bills, and budget transfers
* Coordinating with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and ensure smooth transactions
* Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
* Working on member cases and sports assigned, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
* Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws
* Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
* Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
* Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns
* Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
* Completing daily balancing and department closing
* Obtaining information from contributors for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
* Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
* Communicating with vendors to facilitate budget transfers
* Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws
* Depositing check returns, reviewing member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
* Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
**What You'll Need for Success**
To excel in this role, you'll require:
**Minimum Qualifications**
* High school degree or GED
* Intermediate Excel and Word experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous customer/member service experience
* Previous banking or Credit Union experience
* Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
**Essential Skills and Competencies**
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience, education, or hands-on use
* Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
* Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure conditions
* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors
* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and capacity for attention to detail
* Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
* Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
