**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative in our Data Power & Control Division, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences through professional written and verbal communications, order processing, research, and resolution of customer inquiries. You'll work closely with sales staff, distribution, purchasing, manufacturing, and marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and responsiveness.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process orders received by mail, telephone, fax, EDI, and/or personal customer contact, providing pricing, availability, and schedule information within established guidelines.
* Research and obtain resolution of a variety of customer inquiries, expediting the delivery of selected orders and tracking order activity to alert appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems.
* Foster open communication internally and externally, championing creative change to improve processing and service levels, and providing guidance and assistance to new or less experienced staff.
* Perform other similar and related duties as required.
**Qualifications**
* A.S. degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum of three years' experience in a successful customer environment/position.
* Experience with manufacturing or electrical industry required.
* Experience with Salesforce preferred.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail, and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
* Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
* Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, email, and meeting management software.
* Ability to use the internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively.
* Proficient with mainframe order entry application, with demonstrated ability to type 50 w.p.m. with 100% accuracy.
* Highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.
* Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills and a strong customer orientation.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
* Ability to give and receive detailed/complex information in an understandable way.
* Presentation and training experience a plus.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions.

**Compensation, Perks, and Benefits**
