As a Customer Service Representative, you'll work directly with retired members or family members to discuss retiree benefits, utilizing authorized computer systems to gather and confirm information prompted by incoming calls. **Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Managing inbound calls in a timely manner, following call center scripts when handling different topics
* Researching participant accounts to provide accurate and efficient responses
* Addressing basic questions or issues, keeping accurate records of all conversations and meeting contractual qualitative and quantitative targets
* Performing tasks associated with call handling, including basic plan and participant file research and updates

* Facilitating clear and accurate exchange of information to callers, ensuring quality and accuracy of tasks
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* At least six (6) months to one (1) year of experience minimum working in an office setting taking inbound calls
* Demonstrated typing/keyboard skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to facilitate clear and accurate exchange of information to callers
* Quality and accuracy of tasks
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Public Trust clearance (background check/FINGERPRINTS REQUIRED)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment
* Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
* Experience with computer systems and software applications
