**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide exceptional customer service to Maryland residents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans, and other MHC services
* Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties for HIX customers
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and transactions
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills
* Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
**Essential Qualifications:**
* 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse populations
* Proficiency in using personal computers, including Microsoft Office and CRM software
* High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer with an i5 processor or higher
* Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
* Ability to pass a State Policy Exam with 80% or higher
* Residency in the state of Maryland
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working with Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans, or other healthcare-related programs
* Familiarity with CRM software and State systems
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
* Experience in a remote work environment
