**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for handling incoming calls from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators. You'll provide technical and emergency damage prevention services, answering scripted questions and obtaining information about customers and their work sites. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need to succeed.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Answer inbound calls and follow scripted questions from callers
* Obtain information about customers and their work sites
* Enter data into a ticket format, using a mapping system similar to Google Maps
* Identify work sites on a mapping system
* Provide excellent customer service at all times
* Communicate effectively with excavators, peers, and management
* Process information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria
* Accurately read digital maps
* Demonstrate an interest in public safety
* Understand and apply new concepts
* Work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or GED
* Ability to listen and problem solve effectively
* General computer skills
* Ability to adhere to a work schedule, including having good attendance
* Ability to work as a team
* Self-motivation and ability to work independently
* Willingness to work overtime based on business needs
* Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
* Must pass a criminal background check
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Prior customer service experience
* Experience working in a call center environment
* Familiarity with mapping systems and digital maps
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
