**Job Summary**
We're looking for a reliable and customer-centric individual to work as a Customer Service Representative in our Pittsford, NY office. This is a temporary role with excellent potential for permanent employment, offering a unique opportunity to pivot your customer service expertise into the dynamic healthcare industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support, assisting customers with medical insurance questions, and accurately documenting call content in real-time.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Deliver exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries in a respectful and patient manner
* Assist customers with medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with empathy and understanding
* Accurately document call content in real-time, maintaining accurate and detailed records
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide seamless support
* Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry developments to provide informed support to customers
**Schedule**
* Work Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
* Training: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM (approximately the first 2 weeks)
* Note: Rotating holidays as needed
**Compensation and Benefits**
* Pay: $16.20/hr
* Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K, PTO available

**Essential Qualifications**
* 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or healthcare setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer groups
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in the healthcare industry or with medical insurance products
* Knowledge of medical terminology and industry regulations
* Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
* Bilingual or multilingual skills (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin)
