Experienced Customer Service Representative – Health Plan Benefits and Services

Join our team and be part of a collaborative environment where you can bring your whole self to work. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Analyzing, evaluating, resolving, and responding to service inquiries from members, providers, employer groups, colleagues, agents, and others within departmental guidelines. * Partnering with internal and external resources to provide customers with information and education concerning benefit clarification, eligibility requirements, verification, authorization, billing, and claim status. * Promptly identifying and resolving or escalating customer concerns or complaints to achieve positive outcomes. * Assisting walk-in members and agents if assigned by leadership. * Adhering to established procedures and quality guidelines in support of careerzynith's service promise, key drivers, performance indicators, and corporate values. * Identifying potential trends or issues that impact health plan members and working with coworkers and leadership resources to suggest process improvements. * Assisting members with administrative issues, such as submitting enrollment record changes, providing letters explaining coverage or benefits, and obtaining and relaying member information to other departments as needed. * Facilitating claims resolution through follow-up on member calls and correspondence received to appropriate departments. * Effectively tracking and/or documenting all service interactions with customers within appropriate systems according to guidelines. * Developing and maintaining behaviors of productivity, availability to customers, and adherence to work schedule. **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred. * 1 year of relevant experience in a related field required. **Preferred Qualifications** * Associate's Degree in a related field. * Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At careerzynith, we're committed to investing in our team members' growth and development.
