As a remote team member, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a collaborative and inclusive community. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Assisting internal and external customers in a professional manner, maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude at all times. * Receiving requests from multiple sources and completing necessary processes for equipment services. * Coordinating home equipment service requests with Dispatch for prompt delivery. * Engaging in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information, and diffusing angry customers as needed. * Providing customers with product and service information, as well as maintaining current knowledge on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment. * Verifying medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services. * Following policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance. * Understanding and striving to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service. * Making sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable. * Other duties as assigned by management. **Qualifications:** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED). * 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred. * Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. * Customer service orientation. * Attention to detail. * Good data entry skills. * Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Skills and Competencies:** To excel in this role, you'll need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. * Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues. * Proficiency in computer software and systems, including CRM and billing systems. * Strong typing skills and data entry accuracy. * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering exceptional service. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you'll have access to a range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits, including: * Comprehensive training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge. * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. * Collaborative and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development. * Access to industry-leading tools and technologies. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance and contributions. **Work Environment and Company Culture:** arenaflex is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that promotes health and well-being.
