With a team of over 25,000 associates, we're dedicated to delivering iconic customer experiences and helping every team member grow their career and achieve their best. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative - Collections, you'll be responsible for resolving customer issues, educating customers on their accounts, and influencing them to make payments on past due accounts. You'll work closely with other departments and teams to resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional service that meets arenaflex's high standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Make outbound collection calls to customers, in addition to taking incoming calls, to resolve issues and influence customers to make payments on past due accounts. * Educate customers on their account information, including finance charges, late fees, credit reporting, payment options, and account management options, while annotating accounts in inter-company systems to document all interactions. * Advise customers on the status of their account, reviewing account information and influencing customers to make payments on the account. * Work with other departments and personnel to resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional service. * Perform all tasks in accordance with applicable policies and laws, while meeting department expectations. **Improving Customer Experience** Empathy and transparency are vital to your success in this role. You'll balance the needs of our customers with meeting the metrics and expectations of your position, effectively resolving customer issues while helping arenaflex meet its bottom line. You'll work in a high-energy standard office environment, multi-tasking and speaking and listening effectively with customers via phone, while tolerating stressful interactions. **Qualifications and Requirements** * High school diploma or 1 month of related experience/training. * Basic to moderate computer knowledge and keyboard skills, including minimum accuracy requirements. * Ability to multi-task in a high-energy standard office environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak and listen effectively with customers via phone. * Ability to recognize problems, resolve or escalate as needed, including using a variety of talk-offs to influence the customer to make a payment to keep the account current. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in customer service, collections, or a related field. * Knowledge of auto finance and collections practices. * Experience working in a high-energy standard office environment. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and transparency. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping every associate grow their career and achieve their best.
