**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* **Providing Exceptional Customer Service**: Assist customers with various banking transactions and inquiries, ensuring a positive and personalized experience.
* **Promoting Bank Services**: Function as a sales leader, promoting arenaflex's banking products and services to customers, and referring them to appropriate departments.
* **Account Management**: Open and close personal and non-personal accounts, ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
* **Relationship Building**: Establish and deepen relationships with customers to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional service.
* **Communication and Record-Keeping**: Answer incoming calls, greet customers, and maintain accurate records and reports.
* **Auditing and Compliance**: Conduct quarterly audits on tellers and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with arenaflex's policies and procedures.
* **Consumer Lending**: Assist in consumer lending by processing loan applications and payments.
* **Account Maintenance**: Generate account maintenance requests as needed by customers.
* **Safe Deposit Box Management**: Manage safe deposit box rentals and maintain related records.
* **Banking Center Operations**: Open and close the banking center securely, prepare courier bags for daily runs, and perform other duties as assigned.
* **Training and Development**: Train and mentor new Tellers/CSRs, and assist with ATM balancing and other duties as required.
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
* **Customer Service Experience**: A minimum of one year of previous customer service experience in a retail environment or equivalent sales experience is preferred.
* **Excellent Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
* **Organizational and Time Management Skills**: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity.
* **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn other software applications as needed.
* **Leadership Skills**: Ability to lead others in sales and service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
* **Banking Knowledge**: Knowledge of banking products and services is preferred, but not required.
**Nice-to-Haves**
* **Teller Experience**: Previous teller experience is preferred, but not required.
* **Professional Educator License**: A professional educator license is not required, but may be beneficial for training and development purposes.
