**Role Overview**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative 2, you'll be responsible for administering and evaluating driving exams, assisting customers with titles and registrations, and providing exceptional customer service in a calm and patient manner. You'll be the frontline representative for our customers, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with all laws of the State of Indiana relative to the operations, licensure, and registration of personal motor vehicles.
**A Day in the Life**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative 2, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:
* Administering skills tests and evaluating driving skills
* Assisting customers with vehicle/watercraft titles and registration needs
* Maintaining compliance with all laws of the State of Indiana relative to the operations, licensure, and registration of personal motor vehicles
* Attending training classes and/or taking certification tests as required
* Maintaining the privacy of customer and all related records
* Substituting for Customer Service Representatives as needed
**What You'll Need for Success**
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Must possess a valid driver's license for at least the preceding 12-month period
* Free from at-fault motor vehicle accidents that have resulted in death or serious bodily injury
* Ability to travel up to 20 percent of the time to branch locations, training, or branch-related community activities
* Customer service experience
* Ability to relate tactfully, but decisively, to all types of people and situations
* Must be familiar with the operations of all types of motor vehicles
* Working knowledge of Indiana driving laws
* Top-notch communication skills
* A high level of critical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot
* Ability to process cash and card transactions
* Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
**Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports**
This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
