**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will work closely with the store management team to ensure seamless store operations, meet customer needs, and contribute to the success of our brand.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Greet and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers, responding to their requests and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
* Operate the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle different methods of payment, maintaining proper cash levels in the register drawer and change machines.
* Communicate with the management team regarding customer requests and concerns, ensuring that customer issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
* Prepare all made-to-order food and beverages according to recipe or customer specifications, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
* Stock and refill products within the interior and exterior core register area, cold express cases, bakery, and grocery aisles, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
* Perform customer fuel transactions, monitor activities at the fuel court, and stop fuel pumps if necessary, ensuring a safe and efficient fueling experience.
* Complete cleanliness tasks to ensure all food and beverage service areas are free of any residue, debris, and spills, maintaining a clean and hygienic store environment.
* Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
* Complete other tasks as assigned by store management, contributing to the success of our brand and the growth of our team.
**Essential Functions**
* Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
* Good communication skills, including verbal and written communication, to effectively interact with customers, management, and colleagues.
* Excellent customer service skills, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all customers.
* Ability to learn and demonstrate all arenaflex Safety and Quality Assurance processes and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
* Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, and grasping firmly.
* Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors frequently throughout a shift: reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products and equipment.
* Work safely with equipment that can create and hold very high temperatures using appropriate personal protective equipment.
* Must be at least 16 years old, with reliable transportation to and from work.
* Must wear slip-resistant shoes at all times, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
* Must be able to tolerate exposure to cleaning products, maintaining a clean and hygienic store environment.
**Basic Qualifications**
* Pursuit of or high school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
* Prior food service and/or customer service experience, preferred.
