As a remote Customer Service Associate, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for: * Reviewing daily call sheets from your Team Leader to ensure timely follow-up with record providers * Making phone calls to confirm receipt of written requests and updating the MCS diary system with call details * Diarying next calls for proper follow-up activities and assigning status messages to clients * Determining if copy fees are required and arranging preparation of checks * Informing Request Processing of address changes to providers or clients * Keeping Client Specialists informed of difficult providers * Preparing Excel spreadsheets as required by providers **Performance Metrics** To ensure that you're meeting our high standards, we'll be tracking your performance against the following metrics: * Non-Hospital Location Caller: + Upon completion of 60-day probationary period, an average of 60 requests will be updated daily or 300 per week + Six months of employment: 325 assignment updates per week + Eleven months of employment: 350 per week + Sixteen months: 350 per week + Twenty-three months: 400 per week * Hospital Location Caller: + Upon completion of 60-day probationary period, an average of 65 requests will be updated daily or 350 per week + Six months of employment: 400 assignment updates per week + Eleven months of employment: 425 per week + Sixteen months: 450 per week **Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills * Strong client focus, with the ability to interact with customers at all levels * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail * Ability to multi-task effectively and maintain organization and composure under high pressure * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) * Ability to make timely, independent decisions * Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize work * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Education Requirements** While an Associate degree is preferred, we'll consider candidates with a High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-2 years of related work experience. **Supervisory Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be working independently, with minimal supervision. **Physical Demands** This role requires prolonged sitting in a 7 1/2 hour to eight-hour day, with excessive use of phone, computer keyboard, and monitor. **Work Environment** You'll be working remotely, with the flexibility to work West Coast business hours.
