**Experienced Customer Order Specialist – Aircraft-On-Ground Support (3rd Shift) Contract Position**

As a key member of our Customer Support Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive timely and accurate support for their aircraft parts and services needs. **Meet the AOG Team** arenaflex's AOG team is dedicated to providing rapid response and support to customers whose aircraft are grounded. Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers' needs are met promptly and efficiently. **Your Working Environment** Located just five miles from Washington Dulles International Airport and 30 miles from the U.S. Capitol, our Herndon facility serves as our major parts distribution hub in the Americas. Our 20,000-square-foot warehouse is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Autostore, which aims to increase productivity and efficiency. As a member of our team, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires flexibility, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. **Your Challenges** As a Customer Order Specialist, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, quotations, initial order receipts, order entry, sourcing, escalation, backorders, general logistics, and other related tasks. Your primary goal will be to provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding part availability, cost, sourcing, returns, discrepancies, transportation, delivery, and other related matters. You will also be responsible for responding to technical inquiries, liaising with technical and engineering departments, and communicating with internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies and ensure that customer shipping specifications are followed. **Key Responsibilities:** * Process customer orders, quotations, initial order receipts, order entry, sourcing, escalation, backorders, general logistics, and other related tasks * Provide requested information on part availability, cost, sourcing, returns, discrepancies, transportation, delivery, and follow up to meet customer expectations * Respond to technical inquiries utilizing Technical Documentation and liaising with technical and engineering departments to respond to customer inquiries * Ensure customer shipping specifications are followed for critical orders and resolve discrepancies working with internal and external customers * Communicate potential urgent situations on critical orders and explore technical solutions **Your Qualifications:** * 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment * Experience in the aviation industry or military support environment is preferred * An Associate's Degree in Business, Sales Administration, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Ability to work 3rd shift/overnight hours (10:00 pm to 6:30 am) **What We Offer:** * A temporary (contract) position with the potential for extension or shortening as needed * The opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team in a fast-paced and challenging environment * A competitive compensation package and benefits * The chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a rapidly evolving industry * A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on creating a workplace that is welcoming and inclusive for all employees **Career Growth Opportunities:** At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
