**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for:
* Fielding incoming customer service calls, taking ownership of resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner
* Researching account status and identifying potential issues
* Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes
* Processing disconnection and re-connection requests
* Enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues
* Initiating collection activity on past due accounts and processing disconnection and re-connection requests
* Serving as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* **Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required**: Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for communicating effectively with our diverse customer base
* **Outstanding Phone Etiquette and Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and resolving issues efficiently
* **Excellent Listening Skills**: Ability to listen attentively to customers, understand their concerns, and provide personalized solutions
* **Calm Demeanor in High-Pressure Situations**: Ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor when dealing with agitated customers
* **Attention to Detail and Commitment to Quality**: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service
* **Strong Quantitative, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and suggest process improvements
* **Proficiency in Windows Environment and MS Office Applications**: Familiarity with Windows environment and MS Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
* **Inbound Call Center Environment**: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred
* **Retail Electricity Industry**: Experience within the retail electricity industry is strongly preferred
* **Similar Markets**: Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable is also preferred
