This role involves analyzing data, identifying opportunities, and making recommendations that drive category and customer growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for: * Managing data sources to monitor the field execution of vendor programs & assortments * Communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels * Staying informed of analytic best practices across the industry and providing effective information to deliver sales, margin, and market development goals * Analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions * Tracking category performance, including sales, profits, margins, and market share * Developing, communicating, executing, and monitoring specific performance metrics and goals relevant to each business as part of regular, scheduled business reviews * Creating and delivering effective reports using POS data, Syndicated Data, and account-specific database information in presentation-ready formats * Evaluating and making recommendations on supplier performance to enhance the company's inventory & fill rate objectives * Understanding and applying customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data to deliver category growth * Ensuring superior client satisfaction by providing hands-on deep analytics and contributing to team problem-solving * Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and performing other job-related duties as assigned **Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree and experience within the CPG sector; Adult Beverage preferred; Costco experience a value add * Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills * Incorporating and interpreting data from multiple unrelated data sources into concise action-oriented recommendations * Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations * Expertise in category management principles, syndicated data, and shopper/consumer insights (Numerator/Spectra, etc) * Ability to collaborate with external retail customers, key suppliers, and internal teams to deliver insights and recommendations * Assertive leadership and decision-making skills with an aptitude for understanding changing market dynamics and resolving complex problems * Preferred experience working with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI), Internal Shipment Data, and Household Panel * Strong leadership, decision-making capability, and a proven track record of success * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint **Physical Demands** * Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) * Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping * Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime, and weekends * May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs **EEO Statement** arenaflex is an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibiting discrimination and harassment of any type and providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
