**Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Care Advocate, you will be responsible for:
* Responding to customer requests via telephone, providing excellent service to firm's customers who have or are looking to obtain a Life insurance policy through their employer.
* Processing transactions, preparing correspondence, and fulfilling customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Discussing various topics with customers, including:
+ Enrolling or changing their life insurance amount
+ Confirming or changing beneficiaries
+ Policy provisions (how policy works, including exclusions and coverage)
+ Continuing coverage when retired or leaving the employer
+ Status of customer requests
+ Billing inquiries
* Reporting to work in person during training (Monday-Thursday) and training virtually on Fridays at our Cary, NC office.
* Working from home, which requires high-speed internet (500-650 kbps) and a quiet, secure workspace (hotspots and use of public Wi-Fi are not allowed).
* Using video during interviews, coaching, and virtual training.
* Being flexible with shifts, which may change based on business needs, and working during the hours of operation (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-11:00pm EST).
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Ability to work under immediate supervision, reporting to an immediate supervisor.
* 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a customer service role is preferred.
