Our team of experts is dedicated to driving growth, innovation, and excellence in everything we do. **Job Summary** As a Customer Advocate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for processing loan applications, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with mortgage lending and applicable investor guidelines. You'll be the primary customer contact, acting as a liaison between the borrower, underwriter, and loan advisor. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently will make you an invaluable asset to our team. **Key Responsibilities** * Process loan applications in compliance with mortgage lending and applicable investor guidelines * Provide periodic status updates and timely return all incoming inquiry calls * Note all communication and statuses in the Loan Operating System * Contact borrowers for outstanding documents needed, including items on the Underwriting Terms and Conditions sheet * Validate the 1003 loan application for completion and accuracy, confirming information entered in the Loan Origination System matches * Perform duties such as analyzing the loan application, assessing creditworthiness, and reviewing title commitments and fees * Monitor the loan process and manage proper expectations with clients and sales staff through closing **Essential Qualifications** * 3+ years of loan processing experience * Must have VA and FHA loan experience (ideally with a 30/30/30 split between FHA/VA/conventional) * Must be comfortable talking to brokers on the phone (80% of the job involves calling brokers to follow up) * Experience managing 30-50 loans in their pipeline * Ideally 50/50 split or more heavily focused on re-finance loans **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with Loan Origination Systems and Loan Operating Systems * Knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Skills and Competencies** * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems and Loan Operating Systems * Knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
