**Key Responsibilities**
As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for:
* Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and adhere to our community guidelines
* Deleting messages that violate our rules, including but not limited to:
+ Hate speech or discriminatory language
+ Spam or self-promotion
+ Inflammatory or provocative content
* Banning users who repeatedly violate our rules, after thorough investigation and review
* Muting users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruptions
* Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations, and taking necessary actions
* Collaborating with our team to develop and refine our community guidelines and moderation policies
* Providing excellent customer service and support to our community members
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* To be at least 18 years old
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Familiarity with Discord and its moderation tools
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience as a moderator or administrator on online communities or social media platforms
* Knowledge of community management principles and best practices
* Familiarity with arenaflex's mission and values
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
