As a remote customer service representative, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values flexibility, work-life balance, and professional growth. **Key Responsibilities** As a Bilingual and Non-Bilingual Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for: * Responding to customer telephone calls in a Call Center environment, addressing account maintenance, refund inquiries, password resets, and online State Registration requirements. * Providing knowledgeable and accurate information in a timely and friendly manner, using online web tools for research and staying up-to-date on current tax laws and policies. * Maintaining a working knowledge of current tax laws and policies, as well as revised policies, procedures, regulations, and tax laws to educate, advise, and direct internal and external customers. * Assisting customers either by phone or in person, reviewing confidential tax information, and providing account maintenance according to tax laws and policies and procedures. * Providing customer support for online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center. * Utilizing technology for advanced support, including online web tools and software applications. **Minimum Entry Qualifications** * High school diploma or GED * Six months of call center experience handling customer questions, complaints, and/or providing information **Essential Qualifications** * Customer Service: Ability to address customer issues in a professional and respectful manner, prioritizing customer satisfaction and business needs. * Results Orientation: Ability to identify the most effective methods for completing tasks and achieving goals. * Good Judgment & Decision Making: Ability to evaluate situations, consider potential consequences, and make informed decisions. * Accountability: Ability to take ownership of actions, maintain integrity, and contribute to organizational success. * Teamwork & Cooperation: Ability to promote a positive team atmosphere, respect colleagues, and work collaboratively with leadership. * Analytical Ability: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and resolve issues. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a high-volume Contact Service environment * Bilingual in Spanish or second language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English * Ability to work in a remote environment after completing an onsite training period **Requirements** * Must be able to pass a criminal background check * Must be able to obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive hourly rate: $15.00 per hour (non-bilingual) and $17.00 per hour (bilingual in Spanish or second language) * Opportunity to work in a remote environment, with flexibility to balance work and personal life * Comprehensive training program to ensure success in the role * Ongoing support and development opportunities to enhance skills and career growth * Collaborative and dynamic work environment that values teamwork and innovation **Why Join arenaflex?** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a workplace that's inclusive, supportive, and empowering.
