You'll work closely with our Accounts Payable team to resolve issues, educate suppliers and locations on our policies and best practices, and ensure seamless invoice processing. If you're a customer-focused professional with a passion for finance and a knack for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** As an Accounts Payable Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Handling a high volume of inquiries received via phone or email from internal and external customers * Investigating and resolving questions, late notices, credit holds, disconnects, or discrepancies for suppliers or site locations * Researching invoice discrepancies and working with Accounts Payable Specialists to resolve denied vouchers or alleviate voucher and payment holds * Analyzing root cause of recurring processing and payment issues and collaborating with the team to identify solutions * Reconciling supplier statements and past-due inquiries to ensure everything is accounted for within the ERP system * Notifying Accounts Payable Content Coordinators of supplier correspondence that may impact supplier records and submitting supplier maintenance tickets when necessary * Maintaining detailed knowledge of ERP system, workflows, jobs, departmental processes, and Accounts Payable best practices **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * High School Diploma or GED required * 3+ years in a financial customer service role or 5+ years in a general office administration role with accounts payable as a portion of the job duties * Experience in a shared service center or multi-location environment strongly preferred * Basic knowledge of accounting and GAAP required * Healthcare industry experience preferred * Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel * Knowledge of V Lookups or creating pivot tables preferred **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset: * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment * Familiarity with ERP systems and Accounts Payable best practices * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle high-volume inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions * Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
