We are a growing pet brand selling across multiple platforms including Shopify (direct-to-consumer) and Faire (B2B wholesale).
We are looking for a highly capable Email Marketing Manager who can take full ownership of our email channel and turn it into a meaningful revenue driver.
This is not just a strategy or design role.
You will be responsible for planning, writing, sending, and optimizing all email campaigns.
Key Context:
We have an existing Mailchimp email list that has not been fully utilized
We are actively selling on Shopify and want to increase repeat purchases
We also sell on Faire (wholesale), which requires a different messaging approach
We are currently not maximizing email as a revenue channel
Responsibilities:
1. Email Strategy & Execution
Plan and execute all email campaigns
Send 1–2 campaigns per week
Continuously test and improve performance
2. Mailchimp List Optimization
Audit and clean our existing list
Segment customers (buyers, non-buyers, inactive, etc.)
Run re-engagement campaigns
Extract immediate revenue from the list
3. Shopify (DTC) Email Marketing
Set up and manage flows:
Abandoned cart
Welcome series
Post-purchase upsell
Increase repeat purchases and customer lifetime value
4. Faire (B2B Wholesale) Outreach
Create and send outreach messages to wholesale buyers
Drive reorders and bulk purchases
Suggest and execute promotional campaigns
5. Reporting & Optimization
Track performance of all campaigns
Report on:
Revenue generated
Open rates / click rates
What worked vs what didn’t
Continuously improve results
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience managing email marketing end-to-end
Strong experience with Shopify email marketing (Klaviyo or Mailchimp)
Ability to drive revenue, not just design emails
Understanding of both DTC and B2B messaging (big plus)
Someone proactive who takes ownership
Important:
You will be fully responsible for executing and sending emails.
We are not looking to manage this day-to-day — we want someone who can own this channel.
