We are seeking a temporary, part-time Professional Learning Educational Consultant (ELA or Reading) with a background in teaching ELA or Reading, coaching teachers, delivering professional development and support, analyzing data, and working with school leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitating high-quality professional development and training.
• Providing support and data analysis to educators.
• Communicating consultatively with school teachers and leaders.
Travel Requirements:
Travel up to 80% is required, including overnight stays and transportation via car, plane, and/or public transportation.
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $35/hour to $65/hour, depending on the type of work assigned. Additional benefits include compensation for travel time and expenses, a company-provided laptop, and mileage reimbursement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in teaching ELA or Reading.
• Master’s degree in ELA or Reading is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Common Core State Standards for ELA or Reading for Grades K–8.
