We deliver multilingual support to federal, state, and local agencies across 80+ languages. We are expanding our translation team under a new USCIS contract and seeking full-time Document Translators to process sensitive immigration-related materials with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance. Responsibilities • Translate official USCIS documents (immigration records, forms, evidence submissions) with 100% accuracy. • Maintain terminology consistency in line with USCIS glossaries and standards. • Proofread and review translations for clarity, grammar, and completeness. • Handle urgent and high-volume assignments while meeting deadlines. • Collaborate with quality assurance (QA) staff to ensure compliance with ISO 17100 standards. • Adhere to USCIS protocols regarding confidentiality, privacy, and data security. • Support expedited requests when needed (24–48 hours turnaround). Qualifications • Fluency in English and at least one target language (priority: Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, Haitian Creole; rare languages highly valued). • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field. • 2+ years of professional translation experience (government, legal, or immigration sector preferred). • ATA certification or equivalent credentials strongly preferred. • Familiarity with CAT tools and secure translation platforms. • Must be able to pass a Tier 3 or Tier 5 federal background investigation. • U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required.
