Diversity Account Executive

Position Summary The Diversity Account Executive is responsible for driving growth through supplier diversity initiatives by identifying opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and connecting diverse suppliers to business opportunities. This role serves as a subject matter expert and consultant to sales teams, customers, and supplier partners, helping organizations achieve their supplier diversity objectives while delivering measurable business results. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder who can effectively influence stakeholders, uncover opportunities, analyze spend data, and develop strategies that increase engagement with diverse suppliers across multiple categories. Key Responsibilities Partner with customers to understand supplier diversity goals and develop strategies that support their objectives.  Identify opportunities to increase diverse supplier utilization and category penetration across customer accounts.  Analyze spend, sourcing, and supplier data to uncover growth opportunities and business insights.  Collaborate with sales, category management, procurement, and supplier partners to develop customer-specific solutions.  Build and maintain relationships with certified diverse suppliers, advocacy organizations, and industry partners.  Conduct business reviews and present supplier diversity performance, opportunities, and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.   Support RFP responses, customer presentations, and supplier diversity reporting requirements.  Educate internal teams on supplier diversity trends, customer expectations, and available supplier solutions.  Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.  Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.  3–7 years of experience in supplier diversity, account management, business development, procurement, sourcing, or sales.  Experience managing customer relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.  Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend and performance data.  Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of supplier diversity programs and certification organizations.  Experience working with Fortune 1000 procurement organizations.  Familiarity with sourcing, procurement, and category management processes.  Experience presenting to senior leaders and customer procurement teams.  Proficiency in CRM, Excel, and reporting tools.  Core Competencies Customer Focus  Consultative Selling  Strategic Thinking  Relationship Management  Business Acumen  Data Analysis  Communication & Influence  Collaboration   Problem Solving  Results Orientation  Success Metrics Growth in diverse supplier spend and utilization  Category penetration and opportunity conversion  Customer retention and satisfaction  Pipeline development and revenue contribution  Supplier engagement and activation  Achievement of customer supplier diversity objectives  Internal stakeholder partnership effectiveness  We Offer: Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays) Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more!   It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity.
