Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Workforce Strategy to drive the strategic direction and operational health of our billable workforce. This leadership role sits at the intersection of operations, talent, and client strategy, translating workforce capacity and capability data into actionable decisions that support both client outcomes and company financial performance.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include owning the overall health, deployment, and strategic direction of the company’s billable workforce, analyzing workforce capacity and capability data, optimizing resource management and utilization, leading and mentoring managers and team leads, and presenting workforce health metrics to executive leadership.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in workforce strategy and/or resource management, experience with workforce planning and capacity modeling, and strong proficiency with Excel, BI/reporting tools, Salesforce, HRIS, and resource management or PSA tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an allied health field
- 3–5 years of experience in workforce strategy and/or resource management
- Experience with workforce planning and capacity modeling for a professional services or billable-services workforce
- Experience optimizing utilization and managing deployment for a billable workforce, including staffing and bench management
- Proven ability to lead managers or team leads in an operational or talent-focused environment
- Strong proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker), Salesforce, HRIS (e.g., Workday), and resource management or PSA tools
- Experience presenting workforce health metrics (capacity, utilization, KPIs) to executive leadership
- Ability to travel quarterly as needed
