Director of Logistics Procurement, NA

Job Description: • Lead procurement activities for logistics solutions supporting 13 manufacturing plants across the United States and Canada • Manage more than $110M in annual logistics spend across multiple transportation and storage modes including: Bulk truck, Full truckload (FTL), Less-than-truckload (LTL), Rail, Tank storage, Warehousing, Barge transportation • Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies that align with business objectives and operational requirements • Lead negotiations for logistics and transportation contracts, including pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements to ensure:Security of supplyCost competitivenessService reliabilityWorking capital optimizationCompliance with business requirements • Establish and execute strategic RFP and supplier negotiation plans • Monitor logistics market trends, carrier capacity, pricing dynamics, and industry developments to advise business leadership and proactively manage risk • Lead and develop a team of logistics procurement professionals responsible for all transportation and logistics modes • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to support employee development and organizational capability • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence • Support talent development and succession planning within the procurement organization • Lead major logistics and costing model initiatives supporting commercial and supply chain business requests • Support network optimization and strategic logistics infrastructure evaluations • Lead quarterly business reviews and annual logistics strategy development processes • Partner closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Global Procurement teams to support new business opportunities, customer requirements, and raw material sourcing strategies • Participate in monthly S&OP supply review meetings and support integrated supply chain planning processes • Represent senior leadership at supplier, carrier, and manufacturing site meetings • Collaborate with global procurement teams to identify opportunities for contract value creation and supply chain optimization Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field • 15+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale logistics spend in a manufacturing or industrial environment • Strong knowledge of multimodal transportation markets and logistics operations • Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams • Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial modeling skills • Experience leading cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives • Strong communication and executive presentation skills Benefits: • Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer • Consideration for employment without regard to gender, pregnancy, race, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran or military status, status as a qualified individual with a disability or any other characteristic protected by law • Drug test and background investigation required for employment
