• About the Opportunity:
The DevOps & Cloud Engineer will play a key role in advancing the organization''s cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. This position collaborates with development teams to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, contributing to a resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure. The role is critical during a significant cloud transformation, helping to evolve the Azure DevOps environment while supporting the migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The engineer ensures system reliability through automation and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for application code and Infrastructure as Code
• Support migration and stability of workloads on Google Cloud Platform
• Use Terraform and Ansible to standardize and scale infrastructure provisioning and configuration
• Serve as a subject matter expert to mentor the team on DevOps best practices
• Enforce automation to eliminate manual configuration drift and maintain hardened infrastructure baselines
• Define critical system metrics and participate in incident on-call rotation for 24/7 system reliability
• Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Cloud Architecture
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially IAM and VPCs; GKE experience is a plus
• Proficient in Linux administration with a focus on automation and troubleshooting
• Proven experience building and managing pipelines in Azure DevOps
• High proficiency with Terraform and Ansible
• Familiarity with PHP and .NET environments, able to troubleshoot build errors and understand dependencies
• Understanding of Secure-by-Design principles, including secret management and identity-based access
• Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• $104,800 to $131,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
