🧭 Navigating the position: Development Team Leader (Python)
As a Team Leader will be responsible for guiding a development team. You will lead by example, driving engineering excellence, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable software. fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture. Working closely with other Team Leaders, Architects, and stakeholders. You will help shape technical direction, streamline delivery processes, and ensure alignment with business goals.
As a Team Leader will be responsible for guiding a development team. You will lead by example, driving engineering excellence, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable software. fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture. Working closely with other Team Leaders, Architects, and stakeholders. You will help shape technical direction, streamline delivery processes, and ensure alignment with business goals.
🚢 Your Voyage Ahead:
- Lead a team of Python developers, ensuring alignment on goals, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Mentor and coach team members to support their technical and professional growth.
- Drive engineering excellence by promoting best practices in coding, architecture, and testing.
- Plan and manage team capacity, sprints, and milestones to ensure predictable delivery.
- Collaborate with other Team Leaders, Development Managers, Architects, and Product Owners to align engineering execution with business objectives.
- Ensure effective adoption and execution of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) within the team.
- Contribute to the evolution of development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
🚢 Recommended to bring on board:
- 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
- 2+ years leading Scrum teams with a solid grasp of Agile methodologies.
- Strong technical expertise in Python and object-oriented programming.
- Experience in .NET ecosystem
- Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, GraphQL, REST APIs, event buses, and message queues (RabbitMQ).
- Proficiency in Test Driven Development, unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSql (MsSQL, MongoDB), Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills.
- An analytical mindset with a knack for leading by example.
- Ability to inspire, mentor, and lead by example.
Nice to Have
- Experience with front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments.
- Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools.
