At Microsoft, we’re looking for a Datacenter Engineering Principal Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong technical and leadership skills who is ready to take on the challenge of driving innovation in our datacenter engineering projects.This role requires a highly organized and motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working cross-functionally and be able to think strategically and drive execution.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years working in datacenters. An advanced degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative solutions for datacenter engineering projects.
Design and develop electrical engineering systems for datacenters, including power distribution, power and cooling systems, and infrastructure.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of projects.
Monitor and analyze datacenter electrical engineering projects for efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical engineering projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
Develop and document best practices and procedures.
