**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Supervisor (Senior Admin Officer), you will be responsible for:
* Providing supervision and training to our Customer Service section, ensuring that our property assessment and exemption services meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
* Overseeing all exception programs, including Residential, Senior Citizens, Disabled Veterans, and NOT for Profit exemptions.
* Interpreting municipal codes and state statutes in making exemption determinations.
* Supervising all section programs, including ownership transfers, exemption administration, audits, parcel maintenance, and payables.
* Providing administrative support to the Board of Equalization (BOE) and overseeing BOE activities to ensure compliance with statutory and municipal code.
* Ensuring that records retention schedules and filing are consistent with municipal code.
* Providing professional support to the Assessor on division matters as needed.
* Performing other related duties as assigned.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance, or a similar discipline.
* Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory and/or training position.
* OR an Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance, or a similar discipline and five (5) years of experience in a supervisory and/or training position.
* OR a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and seven (7) years of experience in a supervisory and/or training position.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a municipal or government setting.
* Knowledge of municipal codes and state statutes.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
