We're a startup TV mounting service operating across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, and we're hiring inbound customer service agents to handle incoming calls from homeowners and apartment residents who want a TV installed. In addition, after you have become proficient at handling calls, you will start the dispatch functions.
The right person will start on a paid trial week, then move to a regular weekly schedule.
What you'll actually be doing
Answer inbound calls from customers who saw our ads or got a referral
Walk each caller through our booking flow inside our web portal — it's a guided 6-step form with the script, pricing, and rebuttals built right into the screen
Ask the questions in the right order, type the answers into the portal, quote the price the portal calculates, and book the slot
Handle the common objections (price pushback, "let me think about it," "I can find someone cheaper," etc.) using the rebuttal script that's right in front of you
For commercial or more complicated installs, follow the handoff flow (the portal walks you through it)
What we're NOT looking for
Outbound calls - This is 100% inbound. You may need to follow up with customers who we provide quotes to
Lead generation — we run our own ads
Tech support or troubleshooting — installs are done by our techs, not over the phone
Who this is right for
2+ years of inbound customer service experience (US customers preferred)
Clear, neutral, friendly speaking voice — DFW homeowners are your audience
Comfortable typing while talking — you'll be in the portal the whole call
Calm under pushback — when a customer says "that's more than I expected," you don't panic, you read the rebuttal
Reliable wired internet, quiet workspace, USB headset (no AirPods or laptop mics)
Familiar with web-based dispatcher tools, CRMs, or call center software
Ability to listen to the customer.
Ability to follow instructions
You must have a solid internet connection
You must have a headset or bluetooth earpiece with mic
You must have a quiet working area
You must have a desktop/laptop or tablet for the portal
What we provide
The web portal (works in any modern browser — no install)
A scripted call flow with every question pre-written
A rebuttal study sheet for the 20+ most common pushback scenarios
A coupon/pricing reference so you never guess at numbers
A 1-hour onboarding call to walk you through the portal and listen to a sample call
Real-time Whatsapp access to a supervisor for anything the script doesn't cover
The pay is simple. There are 7 different shifts.
Sunday-Thursday - 10am to 3pm pays $7.25 per hour plus booking bonus. If you handle more than 7 calls during these shifts, there is a $5 bonus for each call after 7 calls for the shift.
Friday-Saturday - 10am to 6pm pays $7.25 per hour plus booking bonus. If you handle more than 11 calls during these shifts, there is a $5 bonus for each call after 11 calls for the shift.
This is a part time role and you will be paid as a contractor. This is ideal for anyone looking to pick up extra income as we probably get between 2-8 calls a day at the moment but that number will grow.
Pay: $36.25 - $58.00 per day
