• About the Opportunity:
The Corporate Accounting Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization''s financial records. This position is responsible for managing monthly and quarterly accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. The role supports business operations by maintaining compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, identifying areas for process improvement, and providing analysis to inform management decisions. This position contributes to the organization’s financial transparency and controls, supporting audit readiness and operational efficiency.
• Responsibilities:
• Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions
• Ensure accounting records comply with accepted policies, principles, internal controls, and SOX
• Perform standard accounting tasks including general ledger management and reconciliations
• Support monthly and quarterly accruals and analyze variances
• Supervise and review work of integrated team members
• Classify and record financial transactions using standard accounting techniques
• Collaborate with business partners to implement accounting solutions aligned with budget compliance
• Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in general ledger accounts
• Maintain understanding of business operations, financial reporting, and ledger structure
• Assist in preparing quarterly and year-end workpapers for reporting and audit support
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support management
• Identify and communicate process improvements to reduce workload and enhance quality
• Support change management and organizational initiatives within the accounting function
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• CPA strongly preferred but not required
• Knowledge of accounting principles including accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and amortization
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive in suggesting improvements and learning new procedures
• Current with industry and professional trends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The pay range for this position is $55,700 - $100,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range; pay may vary above and below the listed range as permitted by law.
• Compensation is based on factors including work experience, education, location, licensure, proficiency, and role qualifications.
• The base pay is part of the total rewards package, which may include discretionary annual incentives, long-term incentives, sales incentives, and standard benefits.
