Coordinate clinical placements for advanced practice nursing students, ensuring they are aligned with program requirements and provide valuable learning opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare facilities to secure clinical placement opportunities for students. Collaborate with faculty and clinical preceptors to identify and assess student learning needs and goals. Monitor and track student progress and provide timely feedback to faculty and preceptors. Create and maintain a database of clinical placement sites and preceptors for future use. Continuously evaluate and improve the quality and diversity of clinical placements to enhance the student learning experience. Stay updated on current healthcare trends and policies to ensure clinical placements are aligned with industry standards. Serve as a liaison between the university, students, and clinical sites to address any issues or concerns that may arise. Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to clinical placements. Collaborate with other university departments and external stakeholders to promote the advanced practice nursing program and attract potential clinical placement sites.
