Job Overview:Client Solutions Banker
Client Solutions Bankers aim to cultivate significant, enduring client relationships by offering exceptional client service and tailored financial solutions to assist clients in attaining their financial objectives. They provide sound financial advice and often collaborate with other team members within the bank. Relationship Bankers actively participate in the community and engage clients through multiple banking channels, educating them on both digital and traditional banking options to meet their financial needs.
Responsibilities:
• Engage clients and prospects in financial reviews and business evaluations to recommend solutions and uncover additional financial needs; ensure commitments are fulfilled.
• Maintain direct interaction with internal and external clients, delivering service aligned with the bank’s client service standards.
• Serve as the primary contact in the branch for opening new deposit accounts and originating consumer loans.
• Produce consumer and small business loans while building and managing a loan and deposit portfolio.
• Educate clients on services offered by internal partners, including Treasury Management.
• Conduct proactive outbound calls to current and prospective consumer and small business clients; partner with the branch manager on community business development meetings.
• Develop a pipeline of prospects through in-branch engagement and proactive outreach.
• Collaborate with partners across various business lines and within the branch team.
• Independently resolve client issues related to digital products and services.
• Support the community through participation in events, volunteering, and sponsoring community initiatives.
• Demonstrate commitment to understanding, modeling, and promoting the DO RIGHT TOGETHER culture.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of banking experience or proven sales experience.
• Two years of experience developing new and existing client relationships, meeting sales goals, and building referral sources in a banking or retail environment with cash-handling experience.
• At least two years of experience in a lending role involving loan origination and processing.
• Strong knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer and business lending.
• Commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals.
• Ability to interpret cash flow, financial statements, and market conditions.
• Willingness and aptitude to develop technology skills across online banking, bill pay, e-statements, mobile banking, ATMs, and business banking platforms.
• Ongoing development of verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Ability to perform outbound calling both in person and remotely.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May be required to act as a bank MLO for open-end transactions; SAFE Act registration required. This role is not authorized for closed-end MLO activities.
