Direct Counsel is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney to join a leading global law firm with a sophisticated and nationally recognized Capital Markets practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and other structured finance matters and will be eager to take on meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of legal experience in structured finance or capital markets transactions
- Experience with residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), securitizations, financings, repurchase agreements, and related transaction documentation
- Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interest in professional growth and development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York
