You are curious, adaptable, and motivated to help scale Riva’s global expansion efforts by building strong relationships and driving demand through modern engagement strategies.  WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING  Reporting to the Manager, Business Development, you will play a key role in maximizing lead generation and nurturing to drive revenue. You’ll collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing teams to execute account-based strategies, leverage modern tools, and contribute directly to Riva’s success.  More specifically, your responsibilities will include:  Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.  Utilize and enhance live dashboards and HubSpot functions to monitor and manage outreach.  Collaborate with Account Executives on growth outreach strategies and priorities.  Execute lead nurturing workflows based on engagement, lead scoring, and win/loss activity.  Build strong relationships with prospects through account-based marketing and sales development.  Research and enrich account data to build targeted outreach campaigns.  Evaluate and map accounts, engaging multiple decision-makers to match qualified leads with Account Executives.  Leverage CRM software and tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Apollo, Clay, AI tools) to manage outreach.  Provide feedback to Business Development, Marketing, and Sales teams to optimize strategies.  Generate innovative ideas to enhance outreach effectiveness using modern technologies, including AI.  Perform other duties as required from time to time.  WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE  1+ years of experience in demand generation, business development, inside sales, or lead generation.  Post-secondary education in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.  Strong project management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.  Understanding of North American business markets and buyer behavior.  Ability to work autonomously and drive results across multiple stakeholders.  Tech-savvy, AI-fluent, and comfortable with modern sales tools.  Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.  Goal-oriented, ambitious, and motivated to succeed every day.  Ability to work remotely while collaborating across time zones.  Experience with CRM software and engagement tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Apollo, Clay).  Bonus Points For  Experience in a global B2B SaaS company in highly regulated industries (financial services, life sciences, aerospace).  Ability to speak and write in a second language.  CORE COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS  Communication: Conveying information clearly and effectively across all levels and listens actively.  Adaptability & Stress Tolerance: Staying effective and calm under pressure, readily adjusting to change.  Achievement Focus: Demonstrating a results-oriented mindset to accomplish objectives.  Managing Resources & Digital Dexterity: Combines adaptability to new technologies with effective utilization of time, budget, and talent to optimize outcomes and drive continuous improvement.  Innovation: Drives creative solutions, encourages experimentation, and fosters an environment where new ideas can thrive.  MORE ABOUT RIVA  We are an Edmonton-based software development company with a global footprint.
