You will operate in a hybrid capacity, balancing client-facing activities in the Richmond, Virginia area with remote strategic planning and reporting. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain sector in the Richmond, Virginia market. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders. Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Negotiate and close strategic partnership agreements and sales contracts. Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the logistics or supply chain industry. Proven ability to identify and penetrate new markets and close significant deals. Excellent understanding of logistics, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain operations. Exceptional networking, communication, and presentation skills. Strong negotiation and contract management abilities. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, including travel within the Richmond, Virginia area. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
