Business Card Consultant

Job Description: • Develops profitable business account relationships and increased profitability from existing and new accounts. • Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services. • Makes sales presentations to existing and/or prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs. • Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales Requirements: • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience • Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience • Ability to travel (local and regional, some national) • Prior experience in business card sales/payments • Well-developed sales and new business development skills, including the development of sales strategies and goals and closing skills • Demonstrated ability to build a book of business from the ground up through proactive prospecting and developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) to generate new business opportunities • Experience working with mid ‑ size to large businesses, including clients with $10MM+ in annual revenue • Strong credit analysis and financial assessment skills, with understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions • Proven success developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) to generate new business opportunities • Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline activity with strong follow ‑ up and execution discipline • Solid knowledge of payment products, with general understanding of product marketing and organizational operations • Strong customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, decision ‑ making, and creative problem resolution • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage leads, activities, and sales performance Benefits: • Healthcare (medical, dental, vision) • Basic term and optional term life insurance • Short-term and long-term disability • Pregnancy disability and parental leave • 401(k) and employer-funded retirement plan • Paid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure) • Up to 11 paid holiday opportunities • Adoption assistance • Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law
