Business Analyst with Technical Writer - Fully REMOTE & Occassional onsite - Must be LOCAL to South Carolina Only

Will close to submissions on 05/14 at 5:00PM EST. Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online Duration of the Contract: 12 months Possibility for Extension: Yes Work Location: Remote - Onsite during projects or at regular monthly/ quarterly intervals. Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be able to commute to the Columbia office as needed. (Resources must be local to South Carolina ONLY). Daily Duties / Responsibilities: This implementation assistance would include, but is not limited to: • status reporting of operational support tasks and related work efforts. • identifying metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) of processes and their output. • create, manage and maintain policy, plan, process, procedure and other program documents such as process flows, standard operating procedures, desk manuals and procedural guidelines. • review, edit, and maintain documentation consistency and accuracy for documentation submitted by both staff and vendors • Monitor and Support deadlines, milestones and activities • Apply change, risk and resource management • Document all meetings attended, directives, and significant phone conversations. • Develop and deliver professional technical Program updates to DIS leadership and supporting staff. • Communicates with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate program strategy, direction and changes. • Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of microsoft office tools. Required Skills (rank in order of Importance): • Excellent technical writing skills; Technical writing experience • ability to create effective and clear process flows and similar diagrams in powerpoint or visio Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance): • Simultaneously manage multiple reporting requirements • strong schedule management and planning skills • support regulatory compliance projects • 5+ years of experience in technical writing • Experience with technical SOP documentation and graphic creation in visio Required Education/Certifications: • bachelor's degree or an associate's degree with 2 years of experience SOFT SKILLS: • Excellent problem-solving ability • Excellent team player • Excellent communication (Written and verbal) skills • ability to work at a high-volume and fast pace • strong collaborator and strong ability to meet deadlines • ability to identify, map, and support business processes.
