Behavior Technician for Cadillac

About the position North Arrow is seeking a Behavior Technician for Cadillac. This role involves providing treatment to children diagnosed with autism, both in clinical centers and in client homes and the community. No prior experience is necessary as all training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is provided, including a scholarship that covers 100% of necessary training costs. Successful candidates will become Michigan-licensed RBTs within 3-6 months and have the potential for growth into salaried and leadership roles. Responsibilities • Direct client care in one-on-one and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training • Follow Treatment Plan protocols and record data for therapy sessions • Assist with parent and caregiver training • Assist in preparing client therapy and training materials • Collaborate with the treatment team including the client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, and supervisors in the development and evolution of treatment plans over time Requirements • High School Diploma (documentation required for employment) • Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols (once trained) as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once • Willingness to accept constructive feedback for both professional development and in the improvement of clinical skills and treatment plans • Strong interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, to lift & carry younger clients, and sit or stand in a variety of postures over an extended period of time • Must pass a background check to be legally able to deliver Medicaid services • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance to travel between clients within Northern Michigan Nice-to-haves • Previous experience working with children in an educational/classroom, daycare or similar one-on-one setting • Flexible availability, especially after school hours Benefits • Scholarship for 100% of necessary training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) • Potential to grow into salaried and/or leadership roles • Flexible schedules • Learning-based culture • Annual performance reviews and raises • Monthly incentive bonuses • Regular company outings and events • Collaborative culture • 2+ weeks of PTO with the ability to earn even more • Medical coverage • Dental coverage • Vision coverage • STD/LTD coverage • Mental health coverage • 401K matching • Day care program available for eligible staff Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
