This pivotal role requires a professional with a strong background in general contracting and concrete construction, capable of leading and coordinating on-site teams to ensure project success. The Concrete Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence project outcomes directly, lead diverse teams, and contribute to the company's reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, technical knowledge of concrete operations, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position is integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, fostering a culture of safety and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. • *Qualifications** The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in construction, with at least three years in a lead superintendent role overseeing concrete operations. An associate degree or equivalent experience in construction management or a related field is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple teams and subcontractors. Familiarity with scheduling tools, project cost control practices, and safety regulations is essential. A proven track record of managing complex construction projects, especially in concrete work, will be highly valued. Candidates must also possess a safety-conscious mindset and the ability to foster a positive, productive work environment on-site. • *Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate field teams, including subcontractors and trades, to ensure seamless project execution • Develop and implement site logistics and manpower plans to optimize productivity • Manage materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper utilization • Create and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain thorough safety documentation • Supervise multiple trades, providing guidance and resolving on-site issues promptly • Collaborate with project management to maintain project schedule, budget, and quality standards • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement on-site • Review and approve work plans, change orders, and project documentation • Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary • *Benefits Joining our team offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees' health, well-being, and professional growth.
