AWS & Google Cloud Platform Support Engineer

Greetings from WB Solutions!!!! We have an Urgent requirement for a Cloud Support Engineer at Remote Long-Term Contract. Role: Cloud Support Engineer Location: Remote Role Purpose: • Provide operational and engineering support for cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery pipelines. • Ensure reliable, repeatable, and secure cloud environments using automation and infrastructure-as-code. • Act as a hands-on practitioner who supports day-to-day cloud operations while continuously improving platform reliability. Primary Platform Focus: • Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the primary supported cloud platform. • Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline execution, troubleshooting, and reliability. • Terraform for provisioning, updating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure. Core Responsibilities: • Operate and support CI/CD pipelines implemented with Jenkins, including job reliability, failure analysis, and environment issues. • Support Terraform-based infrastructure deployments on AWS, including routine changes, remediation, and drift resolution. • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues related to compute, networking, identity, and platform services. • Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to implement standardized, repeatable cloud patterns. • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and operational runbook improvements. • Maintain documentation for supported services, pipelines, and infrastructure components. MultiCloud Growth Expectations: • Learn to support Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Microsoft Azure services over time. • Apply the same Terraform and CI/CD principles across all supported cloud providers. • Assist with crosscloud operational consistency as services expand beyond AWS. Skills & Capabilities: • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation-first operations. • Practical experience or working knowledge of: • Jenkins (pipelines, agents, job troubleshooting) • Terraform (modules, state, plans, applies) • AWS core services (IAM, compute, networking) • Ability to learn new cloud platforms and services quickly. • Clear communicator who can work effectively with engineers and service owners. Ways of Working: • Follow operational standards, change controls, and reliability practices. • Focus on diagnosing issues, not just resolving symptoms. • Continuously improve automation, documentation, and support outcomes.
