Job Description: Audiologist Position Overview TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Audiologist for exciting travel assignments across various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patients' auditory health. Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and assessments. • Diagnose and treat patients with hearing and balance disorders. • Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and other assistive devices. • Educate patients and families about hearing loss and treatment options. • Perform auditory rehabilitation and counseling for individuals with hearing impairments. • Work closely with physicians, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals. • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. • Stay updated with advancements in audiology technology and treatment methods. Qualifications • Education: Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution. • Licensure: Valid state audiology license and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or American Board of Audiology (ABA). • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred. • Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, excellent patient communication, and technical proficiency in audiology equipment. • Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments to various healthcare facilities.
